It is with great pride that I accepted an honorary degree from Wesleyan University today. As a resident of Middletown and the son of a Wesleyan alum, it is an amazing honor. Normally I have let my actions in Middletown and my work with the Community Heath Center speak for me, but today I was given the opportunity to share words of wisdom with some of the future luminaries of the world. Below you’ll find a copy of the speech I gave, I hope that the students take my words to heart.
